Technology Practice Focus
My technology practice focus is broadly in areas relating to chemistry and related chemical technology, e.g., small molecule pharmaceuticals, polymers and plastics, oil field and biofuels technology, chemical and semiconductor chip manufacturing. I have experience working with chemical instrumentation, hospital medication systems, wireless communication, software, and infrared detection systems.
I also have a deep interest and solid experience in plant variety protection for agricultural plants and florae through plant patents and plant variety protection certificates. I have successfully pursued a wide range of plant variety protection, e.g., ornamental flowers, strawberries, blackberries, and fruit trees.
Legal Practice Focus
My legal practice concentration is in the patent field, where I have strong practical experience in litigation, licensing, procurement, and portfolio management. I also have experience and expertise in multiple areas relating to the wide umbrella that comprises intellectual property law.
These areas of expertise and experience cover the key fundamentals required for portfolio protection, management, and enforcement of my clients’ IP intangible assets, whether in patents, trademarks, copyrights, or trade secrets.
